The KB5044384 update, intended to fix major bugs and enhance stability and performance, has actually introduced new issues. Many users are reporting frequent errors and installation failures.

The most common problems include error codes like 0x800f0922, 0x800736b3, etc. For some, the installation completely fails, sometimes getting stuck at 90% or 95% progress. Even when the update succeeds, some users find that the Task Manager fails to display the processes running, which makes things worse. Additionally, several users report significant system slowdowns after the installation.

Microsoft is aware of the difficulties and is working on a solution. In the meantime, manual installation is still possible, but it also carries risks for system stability.
